The foundation is a non-governmental, non-religious, not-for-profit and non-partisan organization. Establihed in January 2009, the foundation is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (No. 41649) and the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development (No 0001153). The foundation focuses on persons with disabilities especially women and children in the areas of education, training, advocacy and provision of better and quality living.
